The account is for sole traders or single director shareholder businesses. There’s no monthly account fee and you get free UK digital banking. The HSBC Kinetic account also includes a monthly cashflow outlook and categorised spending tools.

Attempting to start up my own business. Decided to file for my own business account, before I got any funding, so all funds can go straight into a single account without any need of transfers and would help me ground myself and take a step forward in making my dream of running a business a reality. The process took 2 weeks, which for some may be too long, but for me i was in no rush. Super simple to transfer my own personal funding using my existing personal bank account with HSBC. My only problem would be that I need to ask for a bank card, because it wouldn't be sent automatically on opening account (I was not informed of this till I asked where it is a week after) Reviewed on: 10th March 2022
