Good bank account Have been using Hyperjar for many years for my granddaughter. It's great. Only thing is she can't get cash from ATMs. Reviewed on: 21st May 2026

My son loves Hyperjar!

My son was getting very frustrated that I kept forgetting how much Birthday money he still had available to spend, Hyperjar has solved that problem! I can easily keep track, he has a bit more independence and any extra he gets for chores or from Grandparents can go straight into his jar and the cash doesn't get scattered around the house. My 6yo also loves it to keep an eye on the money she gets from the tooth fairy! Reviewed on: 23rd February 2022

Best cash card for children

The Hyperjar card is so easy to set up and use. Both my children love the independence it gives them and I love being able to easily monitor their spending. They consider their purchases carefully and it’s definitely improving their financial thinking. Reviewed on: 7th March 2023

Excellent product for under 11's

I didn't want an account where I had to pay a monthly fee I had heard really good reviews of hyperjar so I had to try it! It's amazing my child can spend their money in most outlets and I can keep track of their spending ... Best thing ever! Reviewed on: 7th March 2023

Transparent, easy to use and family friendly

Hyperjar has become ah everyday banking app in our family. It is very user friendly with great features. I have already recommended it to 2 friends who have gone on to use Hyperjar happily and successfully. Communication is great and the products offered have some brilliant features. Easy to use

Fab!

So easy to use and transfer money from Jar to Jar and even back to your actual bank account when needed, which you can't do with some other kids accounts like Go Henry. Really great for teaching your kids how to manage their own money too. Reviewed on: 7th March 2023

Seems like a good account

I wanted an account for my 12 year old where he could have independence using a card, yet I could see his spending. HyperJar seemed a good option, the only downside was I had to open an adult account to link the children’s account. This however was a simple process and I can link my usual Santander account to the HyperJar account to transfer money over for my son. There are no monthly/yearly account fees and no fees abroad either which was very attractive, and I will probably use my HyperJar card when abroad next. Would recommend. Reviewed on: 7th March 2023

Great for saving, easy to use app

Moved over to Hyperjar as it's free and does almost all the things our previous debit card app did. It's easy to set up and use the app. The kids got the hang of it straight away and can see what money they have to spend. My only criticism is that it would be nice to add funds via a card, as my bank account type (all in one mortgage/savings/current) is not supported and we don't have phone apps banking, so I have to do a lengthy lap top log-in to put money on the account. I think the boys will be using these cards until they start earning their own money. Reviewed on: 7th March 2023
