Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Amazing customer experience (unusual these days !

Amazing customer experience (unusual these days !) great price specially for longer trips. I spend 4 months of the year in Australia much more competitive than other providers . As far as I’m concerned no need to shop around year on year no unreasonable hike in prices . I totally trust this company for a fair service . Brilliant,so pleased I found them. Always provides extremely competitive prices and quote that covers my needs. Customer service is excellent as they listen to needs and are very patient as you go through medical history and completion of form on the phone. PLEASANTLY SURPRISED

Had to cut short an holiday due to family illness and rush home. Went through the process of recuperating our insurance money with Just Travel Cover and was presently surprised. The whole process was quick and simple (wasn't expecting this with any insurance company tbh) Was reimbursed in full without any delays, hassle etc.. Obviously I now use Just Travel Cover Travel Insurance every time AND recommend them to friends and family !!!! Reviewed on: 13th October 2025
