Review of the Just Travel Cover, Travel insurance:

Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Good value

My wife and I have several medical conditions that Just Travel cover without any issue. We have been using them for several years and they will continue to be our ‘go to’’ travel insurer. Reviewed on: 20th July 2022

Easy to use and very reasonable prices

I have used Just Travel not only for my son, but also for me and my family for when we go away in August. Very easy to use, could not believe the price which was quoted for all of us and changed the date of my cover when i realised that I had made a mistake. Will definitely be using them again. Easy and Great, Straight Comms

Easy quote process; although still very comprehensive, given you the cover you need. I wanted to Upgrade my Purchased Silver Cover to Gold, this was very easy to do and the Customer Care Team were polite and knowledgeable. I must add, the Price is far better than many of the competitors, without impacted on the excellent cover. Reviewed on: 20th July 2022

The same cover or better than many,many others I have tried BUT much more sensibly priced.fortunately I have never had to claim so I cannot comment on the backup services

Easy to use and generally much more sensible on their rates for pre existing health problems. I tried at least 15 different company’s all of which offered the same cover as just travel or worse, many were twice the price offered by Just Travel. Reviewed on: 20th July 2022
