Review of the Just Travel Cover, Travel insurance:

Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Help when needed

I had my holiday booked and had a yearly policy with another company when I rng to say I needed a second single policy as I was going to be away more than the 45 days covered by current policy was told could not cover me for the required length and also when my policy was due for renewal would be reduced to 30 days. They did give me a phone number to contact who passed me to yourselves who could not have been more helpfull and turned my day from worried and upset by sorting a yearly policy for me which covered this trip plus any more trips up to 90 days at a time. Simply good cover, prices and service

So Quick and Easy.

Just Travel Insurance was recommended to me by a friend as I had been ill and was pessimistic about getting cheap holiday insurance for a much needed holiday to Portugal. I rang them up expecting loads of questions and a hefty price but I was so wrong! The representative was so helpful with my situation and gave me a price that I was delighted with. I have booked a holiday to visit my daughter in Australia and will definitely ring Just Travel again as the representative also gave me a guideline price of what I would expect to pay for this trip that I had planned. PEACE OF MIND WITH A MEDICAL CONTION WHILE AWAY
