Review of the Just Travel Cover, Travel insurance:

Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Outstanding insurance

Straightforward and helpful

Great for pre-existing medical conditions

I had previously had difficulty obtaining travel insurance due to a pre-existing medical condition. Just Travel Cover quickly provided a great level of cover at a reasonable cost. Reviewed on: 4th July 2018

Excellent value for money

I have taken out insurance with just travel now on numerous occasions and they have always been the best value, especially as I have a medical condition that a lot of other companies don’t want to insure or are too expensive. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Reviewed on: 3rd July 2018

Best inclusive insurance around!

I’ve been using Just Travel Cover for 3 years now. I have a medical condition which whilst unlikely to affect my travel has to be declared. The advisors are polite and helpful and ask questions in a friendly and non intrusive manner. They have always found a suitable policy which fully includes my health conditions and for a price which is competitive with other insurers that can only exclude my conditions. Perfect Providers

My husband has a rare autoimmune condition and many travel insurance companies wouldn't even consider him. Just Travel had no hesitation in providing the cover that we needed for our cruises, both European and Worldwide. The cost of the insurance is very competitive, in fact compared to many other companies, very cheap indeed. Their customer service is excellent too.
