Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Good, but not as good as the past.

Was given a quote, then when called to accept it, found the original operator made some errors, and the current one confused herself as well as me, resulting in a 30% increase in price. Which was still comparable to others. Have used Just travel for over 5 years and this is the first time this has happened. Reviewed on: 20th July 2023

Their name says it all..

Travel insurance made easy

I got a quote from just travel when I booked my holiday for next year. The whole process from start to finish was very simple and as I have medical conditions I was really worried about it but it was more reasonable than I thought giving me the option of still being able to go abroad and be able to afford it. My initial contact was very easy when buying my holiday insurance. All staff were really friendly.

Worry free travel

Great travel insurance

Just Travel Cover provided the cheapest quote for us. My husband has various medical conditions which means our travel insurance is a bit more costly but Just Travel Cover came out the best.
