Interest Paying Current Account

I switched to using Kroo Bank’s current account mainly because of their advertised tracker interest rate (1.10% below the Bank of England base rate), which is rare these days for current accounts and I found this a very appealing offer. The account was easy to set up, and the app interface is clean and straightforward. Everything has worked smoothly so far, and I appreciate the transparency around rates. One area for improvement is the spending insights – they could be more detailed. Compared to Starling Bank, Kroo offers fewer categories and doesn’t allow you to change a transaction category yourself, which would make budgeting much easier. Overall, a promising alternative to traditional banks, especially if you’re looking to earn interest on your current account balance.
