Kroo is a great online bank but there are buts!

Kroo is a great online bank but is heavily against crypto investing so ban all transfers related to crypto sites whether respected or not. I was warned and banned from investing directly with Etoro which is a multi-asset investment and social trading company. The platform offers access to stocks, ETFs, crypto, and CFDs, with 3,500+ stocks and ETFs available to US users and 6,200+ stocks for international clients. Crypto is relatively a very small part of their investment platform and Kroo cited their policy is to combat crypto scams. Etoro doesn't scam anybody. All their T's and C's are straightforward and if an investor wants to invest in crypto, why should this be against any bank's policy. That is my only gripe but apart from that they are a great bank. I can get round their anti crypto policy simply by transferring to my UK Revolut account who are very crypto friendly and simply invest from there. Reviewed on: 31st March 2026
