Waiting times terrible, customers ignored

Loads of staff behind counter but very slow service as always seem to be making a drink, dont like the open plan area in Leek where everyone can hear what you are discussing about your finances Reviewed on: 4th March 2023

the service is good it obviously was worse/poor during the pandemic. The savings rates aren't as competitive with the likes of nationwide but you are smaller Reviewed on: 4th March 2023

Great face to face personal advise

I keep all of my savings with leek United,I do this because I appreciate the on store personal experience. I only tend to go in-store once or twice a year to renew my savings but when I do nothing is ever to much and I'm always remembered by the staff. I get great advice,feel reassured and valued and they make everything so simple . I appreciate that I can do things face to face and with help to fill forms ect and it not all being online or electronically. Great service,this is the reason I've opened opened two more savings accounts with leek this year alone. I could get better rates online but I appreciate the on store experience. Friendly and efficient

Leek Building Society is a local organisation, supporting the community (both financially and socially) but it’s main business is clearly about helping individuals (and organisations) with financial affairs. A building society that believes in the branch contact

I became a customer of Leek United BS just two years ago as they were offering one of the most competitive savings rates nationally. When many other banks and building societies have been closing branches Leek United has been refurbishing its and as a recent retiree I’m rediscovering the high street and a local branch is a much appreciated and used convenience.
