ISA Transfer Resolvement.

I transferred my Isa to Leek from another provider and the payment was made by cheque by the the other provider and was incorrectly signed and the payment failed but Leek were instrumental in getting a new cheque correctly signed and now everything is fine. Reviewed on: 19th January 2026

Great Building Society

Courteous ans efficient branch staff always helpful and well informed.. the online experience which I now use since moving away from Uttoxeter is excellent and easy to use. Staff have an attitude problem

Staff have an attitude problem in Derby Street branch. Rude to my husband and didn’t take into account his disability. I also have had bad experiences with staff in this branch and neither of us are likely to walk into this branch ever again. Reviewed on: 19th January 2026

The customer service is always friendly and efficient in pleasant surroundings at the Head Office.It is important that the public supports local Building Societies especially those that concentrate on sticking to the principles that the movement was founded on.Having spent 35 years working for another Leek based Building Society which no longer exists I have witnessed what happens when Societies attempt to operate in areas where they don’t have either the knowledge or experience.
