Worst customer care I have ever had.......

I have just spent an hour on the phone with a man who would simply not listen to my plight, as the result of an extremely acrimonious divorce I am now in dire need of a mortgage payment holiday, he refused to acknowledge that I had already received a holiday a year or more ago and finally suggested that I should seek help from another source.......... 20+ years as a customer seems to mean nothing! I am now in the position of pay my mortgage and not eat or do not pay my mortgage and eat!!!! I will never use their mortgage services again, they should be ashamed of themselves...... AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID Just awful, I have been in contact with Lloyds concerning my mortgage since February. I have not received promised calls, (apparently they have made them and voice messages) EE have told me I have not received anything. I arranged a payment holiday that didn't get put through properly. This incurred an incorrect direct debit! I then got a threatening letter about being in arrears when I wasn’t. Then I had to telephone them to reorganize my payment holiday. They said they were sorry, said they could do nothing about the impact they have made on my credit score although it was from all their mistakes! Each time I called I was given different information. I then called to chase all the calls they never made. I was again told they had but couldn't get through. Funny how I receive their text message from this number telling me I was going to receive the call I never received!! I put in a complaint that has been declined on most of the issues, I was given £150 based on the Epilepsy it has caused through stress, the impact it has had on my mortgage application with another broker and the worry and frustration we have insured through all of this. I have been told that the team leader to the advisors listened to these calls has been instructed to act upon their mistakes. That's it…9 months of being messed about..effect on my health and our future home..£150!! Reviewed on: 25th October 2023

NO CARE FOR LOYALTY NO HELP

I have been with Lloyds Bank for 18 yrs with a mortgage. Never once missed a payment. This month February 2023 I asked for a payment holiday. We were told we had until 28th February to make our payment. We usually pay on the 1st. Because we had not paid in the first our mortgage holiday was refused. We told them this would make us struggle financially as we had something we needed to organise which would have us back in track. They refused. It seems 18 yes of paying without any missed payments is neither here nor there. This company will not help even the customers who have been good on their account! Very disappointing! UPDATE So we where told 23rd February that if we paid this months mortgage then we could gave a holiday. Then today 27th February I received a call saying we couldn't. That they apologise for getting our hopes up. That they sympathise with this and that and just verbal company non-sense. No help at all. They can't help due to the fact decent afford the mortgage!!! We haven't missed a payment in 18 years and just needed to get our new work contracts in order as the other person who had the other half of the mortgage abruptly stopped without warning us! DO NOT GET A MORTHAGE WITH THIS COMPANY..THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR LOYALTY OR GIVE ANY SUPPORT. Unless you want to rack a bill up with a 0% interest rating that will kill your credit rating. Trying to change my variable to a fixed rate mortgage

It took me 3 months to finally change my mortgage from a variable to a fixed rate mortgage after 3 hours on the phone with a mortgage advisor being antagonised and fraustrated as he was more interested in selling me life insurance rather than helping and advising me so I had to use my own initiative in the end Reviewed on: 28th October 2022

It took me 3 months to finally get my mortgage changed from a variable mortgage to a fix mortgage as they used every trick possible to delay my actions then who was supposed to be my mortgage adviser spent most of his time antagonising me and trying to sell me life insurance even though I kept telling him that I used wanted a fixed mortgage and nothing else! They use a hopeless free conveyancer

They use a company called Optima Legal for their conveyancer they are the worst company you will ever deal with. Lloyds will hide behind them saying that they can't help when it ends up costing you more by your mortgage not being ready. They won't sadly be "By your side" they won't compensate you and will leave you high and dry blaming it on a third party! Reviewed on: 18th October 2022

Wasting my time

After weeks of giving data and passing their checks and due diligence... oddly out of no where, they said no. They suggested the underwriters did not want to based on some nonsense ratio that actually was not correct. Don't waste your time with these amateurs Reviewed on: 17th August 2022

Don't sell your property to someone getting a mortgage from Lloyds

16 weeks on and no completion date for a no chain sale as the buyer is using Lloyds approved conveyancers. They don't answer the phone or return calls and repeat queries already answered. No hope of getting this sale over the line any time soon and it's all down to the poor service of the Lloyds approved conveyancers, avoid like the plague. Reviewed on: 11th May 2022

Terrible customer service
