You have to pay your first deposit of £20 minimum to your London Capital Credit Union savings account before any loan funds can be paid to you. You can borrow between £200 and £30,000 (£40,000 if you’re a homeowner).

False loan ads / savings

I’ve had 2 loans, paying them feels like it takes forever from my child benefit. I’m always seeing ads to apply for a higher loan but I’m never accepted. It’s quite triggering. Although I love the saving element because I can’t save by myself whatsoever. It’s the highest amount of savings I’ve had in my life. Reviewed on: 23rd June 2026

Great credit union, only thing I would say it advertised to apply for a loan on my homepage so I did and was sent an email stating it hadn't been long enough and to check the email they had sent 5 months ago.
