To apply for a London Capital Credit Union loan, you must first join as a member.

You have to pay your first deposit of £20 minimum to your London Capital Credit Union savings account before any loan funds can be paid to you. You can borrow between £200 and £30,000 (£40,000 if you’re a homeowner).

I have being a member of capital credit union for over 5 years. I have received support to access credit and obtain loan, especially when I am in emergency situation. The team are helpful and and the loan rate is not on the roof compare to what is obtainable in the market. If you are a member count yourself to be lucky. Reviewed on: 28th April 2026
