Anyone who lives or works in Manchester, Tameside, Trafford, Rochdale, Stockport or High Peak and Bury can join Manchester Credit Union and apply for a loan.

Manchester Credit Union loans are available for up to £15,000. Members can clear the balance of a loan at any time and won’t be charged any early settlement fees.

A brilliant website that supports a clear and extremely helpful financial service

I have been a member of Manchester Credit Union since 2011. I have had a loan with them that was affordable and the repayment was easier than any other loan repayment I have experienced. The website is clear, easy to navigate, holds all necessary relevant detail for any action I require within my account. The recent addition of the Xmas Saver account option is in my opinion an outstanding benefit. I find the staff at Manchester Credit Union very helpful. I am indeed a very satisfied customer. Wish I would have known sooner!

Very happy to have learned about mcu. Its been so helpful in times of need. Being able to save in an easy but secure way is great! You can use the app to manage your repayments and savings too! The repayments are manageable and the staff are always helpful and friendly! We had an unexpected funeral to pay for around Christmas time and we have children and we was told about mcu and the loan really did help us... then we carried on using mcu since and have been saving too!
