A Regular Savings Account is opened automatically when you join Manchester Credit Union. Savings must be made on a regular basis, either weekly, fortnightly or monthly and withdrawals can be made via the App or Members Area.

Savings Account for rainy days

I have beem with Manchester Credit Union for about 6 years. I save a small amount each month and it gives me a lot of peace of mind. I can see my savings grow online, I feel rest assured that if I need to use my savings I can withdraw them without any hassle and know that if I needed extra money I could apply for a credit union loan. Their website is simple to use and provides all the information I need. As an extra bonus every saver is provided with generous life insurance. The life insurance doubles your savings deposits in case of your death to help love ones pay for funeral expenses. Reviewed on: 18th May 2022

The savings is ideal when you’ve got the loan as it doesn’t let you access it until you’ve paid the loan back so it can just build up instead of dipping into it. I've been using credit union for over a decade now

I have been using credit union for over a decade now. Its great for savings and loans. Its very straight forward,you will have to provide certain information such as I.d, bank statements, account information ect.. and be able to show you can effectively pay the loan back. The interest rates are extremely low you can pay your loan back faster its up to you. They also have savings accounts to try to help you save too. The staff are friendly and helpful.
