Failure to adhere to basic instructions.

I gave clear, precise, accurate instructions to close the account requesting a BACS payment of closed funds to a High Street Bank. I provided all the necessary details. What happens ? A cheque is sent instead and now that takes 5 -6 days to clear. Failure to adhere to a simple straight forward request has now caused me a lot of inconvenience and loss of interest. Easy transfer

Good systems but poor interest rate

Friendly and local

excellent service as always

The reason the account was closed was because it was my late mothers account and i needed to close the account for inheritance purposes with the family members. I have a number of accounts in mine and my husbands name and we have been with Mansfield Building Society for over 50 years with our first house purchase and savings through the years.
