Great Service!

Our cat was ill on Good Friday, during the start of lock-down. Becasue we have her insurance with Bought By Many, we used the First Vet app to book a video appointment with a vet 30 minutes from logging on. She was great and told us that our cat needed medication and to book her in immediately. We went to the emergency vet and sat outside while they saw her and dispensed the medicine. BBM covered everything, dealt directly with all the vets in question and paid us promptly. It was a terrible time, handled the best possible way. Reviewed on: 6th August 2020

Excellent service

I phoned to change my second dog from her existing insurer to BBM, as my other dog is insured with them and we have received excellent service. Simon, the person i spoke with was so helpful, going out of his way to explain the policy to me. I would highly recommend BBM. Reviewed on: 6th August 2020

Great value, fantastic cover

I insured my puppy last year on the policy where you get money back for no claims, after I got a recommendation from a friend. Thankfully we didn't have to claim, so Buddy will get an extra wee treat. I got free access to an online course in dog first aid, which was fantastic and very interesting and informative. So far, so good!

Thankfully, I have not yet been in a position where I have needed to make a claim. However, this is partly due to the super FirstVet app which spared me in in person a vet visit during lockdown. The animalloveonline first aid course offered free as Bought By Many customer was also extremely useful. I feel so much better prepared to spot signs of dehydration and know not to rush a dog to the vets if it is having a seizure. And... who knew black tea can clean a wound and spider webs can aid healing*? (*obviously not to be used as an alternative to qualified veterinary assistance). Bought By Many had so many different options to suit my needs (including low & no excess) and these inclusive extras had made all the difference. I assume these make sense to the company - a video triage service if you are uncertain whether a vet trip is really necessary and some basic first aid to avoid doing more harm than good. Helpful even when you arent asking

I’ve found that the regular emails I get from Bought by Many has given great insights into areas, that I didn’t consider. How to keep your pet cool in summer, how to ease your pet into post lockdown routine. It’s like a extra bonus I never got from my previous insurer Reviewed on: 6th August 2020

An easy experience getting pet insurance

I went through various sites looking for a pet insurance policy that suited my requirements. The variations of policies and prices were mind boggling. I found bought by many’s wording of their policies very easy to understand, I know exactly what has been put in place for my pet and the policy certainly meets my requirements. This was not the cheapest company I found but it was the cheapest for my personal policy requirements. I can speak to a trained veterinary nurse if I’m worried about my pet and this would have been crucial for me if my pet got sick during lockdown. My vets were not accepting calls except emergencies, so when you are worried, reassurance is a great thing to have at the end of the phone line. Reviewed on: 6th August 2020
