Great Service!

Our cat was ill on Good Friday, during the start of lock-down. Becasue we have her insurance with Bought By Many, we used the First Vet app to book a video appointment with a vet 30 minutes from logging on. She was great and told us that our cat needed medication and to book her in immediately. We went to the emergency vet and sat outside while they saw her and dispensed the medicine. BBM covered everything, dealt directly with all the vets in question and paid us promptly. It was a terrible time, handled the best possible way. Reviewed on: 6th August 2020

Wasteful Insurance

My dog needs to go for an X Ray and the customer service department cannot tell me in advance if the X Ray will be covered. Furthermore the vet wanted to send the documents for pre approval and Many Pets says this cannot be done. It’s such a waste of time to have an insurance that cannot pre-approve. Also the excess cost is so high and you end up losing out if you have claims for less that £99. There’s no genuine care for the pet or pet family, but they are quick to take your money and not assist. The best insurance ever is Dotsure Pets in South Africa, the vet can claim directly from insurance without having the claimant have to pay first and claim second. Dotsure pre-approve all procedures and they pay claims within 24 hours in my experience, they even phone to check up on your pets health after a procedure.
