Cowboy company

My husband took this warranty out with garage two months ago when he changed car. He didn’t like the car so changed his car at a different garage. He rang company to cancel warranty and get refund for remaining months but they refused and said no refund due. We were never told that money would not be refunded if we sold car. We have lost £300. Any warranties we’ve had with other companies, we have never had a problem with and will refund money. This company is a joke!!!! Reviewed on: 14th September 2023

Stay well away from this lot guys. Buy a warranty or a car from a garage who uses these and it is not worth the paper it’s wrote on. If your car develops an issue you need to contract them and advise them of the issue. You then need to take it into a garage (must meet certain criteria) for a diagnostic which I did at the cost of £54 an hour as my car developed a loud knocking sound. Following the booking I was contacted by the garage advising it was an issue with the rear breaks. I was aware that the warranty does not cover such items as this is ware and tear (covered less than 500 mile since purchasing I must add). The garage would not get involved with this company as they said previous experiences in the past resulted in them waiting weeks for payments. I asked the company for a time scale before collecting the car and was Informed they operate a 5-10 working days to pay for authorised work but may be earlier. Once you have the diagnostic you need to email proof through and within a couple of hours you will have a decision. What garage can or will hand over your car and wait potentially 1-2 weeks for payment? On top of this I need my car back for work and with a bank holiday this is even riskier. As a result I collected the car by paying for the diagnostic myself however some people won’t be fortunate enough to be able to do this. I sent the paperwork through to claim the diagnostic fee cost back. About 3 hours later I received a blunt reply saying they don’t cover breaks, I explained I’m aware and just want to claim back the diagnostic fee. Another blunt reply advising that’s not possible as per the T&C they only cover the diagnostic fee IF the fault IS COVERED! I explained that when I have bought a car with warranties in the past they take the car in, check it out and if it’s covered they sort and if not they advise and it’s then my choice to collect or authorise work at my cost. I explained it’s a warranty that isn’t a warranty as you should have total piece of mind not worrying about something costing you. I asked them to cancel the warranty as it’s nothing like other companies and it’s not fit for purpose and the chances of them paying for work is extremely slim (mine is a premium warranty I must add), covers up to £65 max labour rate and £500 claim limit so not really going to touch the sides if it meets the criteria. Informed I couldn’t cancel the warranty as it’s been more than 7 days so outside the cooling off period! Im going to now take it up with the garage who I bought it from. Poor attitude from this company who just don’t care and hide being the old Ts and Cs statement. Take out your warranty with a main agent not these cowboys. Reviewed on: 25th August 2023

We have put two claims in and both rejected. Oil leakage not covered, and diff bearings failed, classed as wear and tear.. what's the point? All failed part could be classified as so . Don't waste your money buying one. Reviewed on: 4th August 2023

Would be 0 stars if possible. Policy is genuinely not worth the paper it is printed on and i currently have a complaint registered with the financial ombudsman about them. Con artists and thieves. I recommend you stay clear of them. Reviewed on: 21st June 2023
