Review of the MCE Insurance, Motorbike:

It seems that MCE insurance, fake a reviews about them quality of service.

I tried to leave my review about MCE Insurance on other websites like, ( https://www.reviews.io/company-reviews/store/gc-mceinsurance ) it seems that they are fake the reviews which are mostly 5 stars there. My review, the above mentioned website doesn't accept because it has one star also. This website www.smartmoneypeople..., seems has the most clear reviews about "MCE insurance" company which basically has one star reviews. "MCE insurance" has disgusting service Two days already I tried to renew my policy. Because of constant glitches In MCE sistem and delays with verification information I've late to renew it is lapsed. Two days I have spoke already with seven different mce agent's (Glen, Mary, Nicole, Jobr, Jiba, Mel and Lenser) So they introduced themselves to me. Almost all of them advises were absolutely pointless. Only thing they do, asking your details during 5-minutes and then send you to them website to fill in questionnaire to get new quote. I've done it 4 times already during last day. The last agent Lenser I called him five minutes before closing. After 10 minutes of inquiries he asked to stay on the line and hung up. Apparently, he decided it was time to go home. As I dealt with this company also in the past I would like to warn all others that several times I caught them agent's on obvious lies. So I advise you to write all names of agent's you spoke with, time of conversation and other details if you deal with them. Reviewed on: 26th November 2022

This company is 1 big scam.

This company is 1 big scam. They called me asking for refund of money they never sent me, blaming it on an IT mishap. Then threatened me with court if I didn't pay it. Have had to bring in lawyers. Have spoken to other riders who have had the same issue. Reviewed on: 24th May 2021

Rip Off Company

Payed £184 for a Suzuki GSX-S1000 in December 2020 now have changed bike to XMAX 300 Scooter. To change insurance over to new scooter reg and cancel Suzuki insurance was told I had to pay £126 pound for this service. New insurance with new insurance company would only cost me £113. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICES AND EXTRA FEES

NO GOOD CUSTUMER SERVICE AND EXTRA FEES. I got my card cancelled and tried to get in touch to change my details. Lines were busy so I went for the chat wich they advise you to do on the recording over the phone. There the person on the other side told me to wait that they would contact my in 72hs. I waited, THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK. They charged my the 30pounds admin fee. I TRIED TO GET IN TOUCH, to wich they told me to wait. Not fair to pay the 30 pounds extra fee. what a bunch of Dickheads con artists, they charged me for a mistake that they made ! pay a higher premium and for the better company because you will end up paying more with these dickheads in the long run anyways and the customer service is shoddy requested a call back they said 72 hours they never called me back. Bad

the UK's worst insurance company. Don't migrate to MCE, it's rubbish. I spent 30 minutes on the phone to change my policy start date. I spoke to a woman and then she transferred it to a man. He played deaf and hung up after 40 minutes on the line. I was going to change the date, now I'm going to cancel. Even garbage is better than MCE. Reviewed on: 6th April 2021

Cheapest is not always best! Be warned

Despite having needed car insurance for 24 years, I only got into motorcycling last summer. The cheapest quote was MCE and yes I should’ve checked their reviews first. After exactly 6 months of my 1 year policy, I sold the bike in question. A week or so later, I emailed MCE asking to cancel the policy and refund the unused portion. Although I expected to pay some sort of admin fee (let’s be honest, insurance companies in general will try and screw you for every last penny), I was somewhat shocked that MCE outright refused. They said “there will be no refund due on this policy, anything over 6 months on cover there is no refund”. To be clear, there was five total months - plus most of a sixth - left to run. I think this is appalling, and would urge anyone considering using MCE due to them being a bit cheaper to seriously reconsider and use a reputable company instead. Reviewed on: 5th February 2021

To the wise, keep away from MCE Insurance

This company is serially poor, unresponsive, uncaring, has little ethical behaviours to its customers. Search engines should be notified to not even consider it as an option. Don't trust them with your hard earned money, the quote you get may be a few quid cheaper but your in for serious issues and day to day management if you go down the policy route. Has to be the worst company i have EVER dealt with - my recommendation is keep away! Reviewed on: 1st December 2020
