Easy credit card

Might not offer rewards, but 56 days interest free. Can use anywhere in the world and free to use in Europe for free, was able to use it for a hotel which if my partner had of put on their natwest card would have cost £50 extra. Reviewed on: 17th February 2021

Stilling money

I pay my ALL credit but i still was paying fee . They told me because I pay minimum . Later I found out that that bank has double way to count the money . On my systems I pay all on the system I own . Now I went and I asked to cancel my credit card I pay they mistake. What I see they still taking money from my account- one week after when my credit card was canceled! And I pay already . That bank still money even if you don’t know . Reviewed on: 1st October 2019

Worst banking experience ever!

Had my account blocked by metro for no reason, can't access money, can't pay direct debits due. Need to send in all sorts of paperwork to confirm normal everyday transactions. Customer service totally unhelpful. Now left with no money to pay bills indefinitely while they 'look into this' and they can't even tell me how long this will take. Very disappointing and not uncommon for this bank going by other reviews I've read with people having the same problem. Reviewed on: 3rd April 2019

terrible service and under-trained staff

I'm being polite. Metrobank messed up a card dispute, took hours of my time (it was £30, how ridiculous) and changed their mind at every stage. Then when I complained first they agreed, then they changed their minds. I used to recommend them to everyone, now I'm going to do the opposite. I moved all my banking away from them, they didn't try to stop me even though I said I didn't really want to move, I wanted to fix it. They don't care if they lose you as a customer......fact. Disappointingly swift nosedive from grace

Metrobank started out being a promising new customer centric bank to an a less than mediocre dud bank before i could say Mississippi. I currently hold an account with them and went in for a credit card application which went in for a referral and the bank promised to call me back so i can save a trip to the bank if the decision comes back negative. No news in over a week - tried calling them back (nobody mans the phone for a majority of the time during working hours)... after the 7th try, they said they cannot do any lending at the moment.
