My first foray into investing

Moneybox has empowered me to give investing a go. I only have a very limited grasp of investing and stocks and shares and I don't like risking money on things I don't understand, so being able to easily invest 'spare change' (the digital equivalent of a penny jar) is perfect. I only add money that I consider spare, which is not factored in to budgeting, and which I can leave in for the long term and afford to lose if worst comes to worst. This means that I feel comfortable placing it in an adventurous fund and seeing what happens! This is invaluable for a normally risk-averse person like me, and without Moneybox I would have been unlikely to ever take that step. It’s an absolutely brilliant resource, and I have recommended it to all my family and friends. Reviewed on: 11th March 2022

Amazing app- so informative and easy to use

The app is so informative and so easy to use. I have now got a few accounts with moneybox due to the customer service being amazing, the ease of being able to see where my money is and what it is doing everyday and the fantastic extras that pop up on the app such as the Time Machine that they recently did where you can see how much you will have saved in different lengths of time. Made good profit on share ISAs.

Made good profit on share ISAs. Highly recommend. lots of good data real time updates and ability to mix managed shares with individual share choices. Needs to add UK shares to the portfolio. Kids isa needs better flexibility and parental control. Reviewed on: 6th February 2025

Makes investing easy and fun. App is intuitive and has loads of information and future savings projections. I like the control of choosing roundups and instant transfers.
