Monzo's Business Account: Great for Self-Employed

I use Monzo's Business Account option for myself as a self-employed freelancer. It's really easy to use, I like that you can create & label pots for whatever you need - I use it to regularly put money away for each tax year and saving for expenses. It's also got a great Get Paid tool, which I use for all my invoices and to keep track of which clients have and haven't paid me. Monzo has also regularly kept me informed about Making Tax Digital including key information, top tips and how Monzo will be allowing users to submit through their own systems. Best bank I’ve ever used by far.

Best bank I’ve ever used by far. And I’ve used a lot of them. Hsbc, Santander, First Direct, Coop, Starling, Natwest, Sainsbury. Monzo user experience and features is just unparalleled. Reviewed on: 6th March 2026
