Loan refusal

I was told to apply online for a loan due to covid. I did. I was rejected with no reason. Excellent credit rating, no debts, good history, decent income, mortgage etc... I called customer service the very next day looking for some answers. I was offered a loan right away at higher Apr than expected even tough the application said I can't apply for 28 days after refusal. This is financial entrapment. They loan rejections goes on my credit history and affects any future loans if I approach other lenders. After multiple phone calls and emails I got nowhere. They won't tell me why was I rejected. The best service I've ever experienced

I took out a consolation loan of £15k. We've banked with NatWest for many years so it was always our intention to approach them first before we went elsewhere. The loan was approved pretty much straight away and the money was in our account within 3 days. It's been necessary to speak to NatWest about my loan repayments twice and each time the customer service has been exceptional. We asked for a repayment freeze for 3 months at the start of the pandemic due to my husband being self employed and not earning since march. Again, they were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Reviewed on: 8th July 2020

Quick and Easy Loan

Online banking nightmare

It was easy to set up the loan, and it was quick and effortless. The problem has been trying to get help with a deferral on payment as their android Cora is useless as is the info on their online site. Reviewed on: 29th April 2020

Disgusting bank

After several mistakes repaid to me with 60 pounds compensation each time, they closed down my accounts as a revenge keeping thousand of pounds of savings I had. Now without any explanation they are retaining my money which in the meantime disappeared from my account. As far as I have seen on Natwest customer reviews, hundred of customers had the same, probably it’s time to take this bank all together to the Court. They cannot keep customers money and run away. Terrible customer service

Applied for natwest loan 3 weeks ago now and still no nearer to getting even a decision, only used them because its who I bank with,I've phoned up 5 times and been told 5 different things,absolutely useless,I've had loans before and never experienced this carry on,my advice is use somebody else's because natwest are terrible Reviewed on: 20th January 2020
