Amazing child friendly pocket money app

I’m so happy we found this app. Neither my husband or I ever have cash any more to give the kids on the weekend. We either don’t get to the bank or just don’t have cash on us. Pocket money used to get forgotten and I was writing IOU slips on pieces of paper in their piggy bank! Enter rooster money. Now they virtually earn their pocket money each week and we buy them once they have saved up, their goal item. It helps them feel part of the process and appreciates the money more than us just buying toys for them now and then. It’s a great way for them to learn how money is saved, then also how to see an online purchase. I have them enter their details so their purchase is mailed to them directly. It’s even better than there is a card option for them once they are a bit older. Great also for adding, subtracting, working out how far they have left for their goals. I recommend this app 100%. It’s great, reliable, user friendly and teaches my children about money, saving and spending. Perfect. Reviewed on: 5th February 2021

Easy to set up and seems intuitive to my 9 year old.

The app and visa card has enabled really good conversations about how much things cost and how to plan your spending. Really straightforward method of managing pocket money, particularly while shops are closed and those that are open prefer card payment. Reviewed on: 5th February 2021

So good I wish they did grown up banking!

A great teaching aid for the big wide world

This has taught my daughter that the smarter you work the richer you become - you don’t get anything for free you’ve got to work for your money - she loves the freedom it gives her to buy things online and at the shop with her card and I can check where she’s spending it - absolutely fabulous app Reviewed on: 5th February 2021

A good lesson

I our house we have been using roostermoney for a few months now for our 12 and 14 year old. It has really helped them understand the value of working for their pocket money. We even get some chors for free with no questions which is great, we have the cards with our app which makes them feel all grown up and it make me feel better being able to see when and what they spend.
