Been with rooster for a few years now, just gives my early teens a bit of independence, and most places are cashless now so it's a good thing to have for them. Reviewed on: 4th March 2026

Perfect for kids

I started using Rooster Money through NatWest to help teach my child about saving and managing money. The setup process was straightforward, and I liked that I could track pocket money, set chores, and create savings goals in one place. The app is child-friendly and easy to navigate, which made it engaging. One of the positives was being able to monitor spending and have conversations about money in real time. It definitely helped encourage better financial habits and responsibility. Overall, I found Rooster Money helpful for introducing money management skills. Reviewed on: 4th March 2026

Great for raising money smart kids

NatWest Rooster Money has been a fantastic addition to our family. Setup was quick and straightforward, and the app is intuitive from day one. What’s impressed me most is how it’s helped my daughter develop a real understanding of managing her money — a brilliant tool for building smart financial habits early. Reviewed on: 4th March 2026

Excellent Service and Great Support for Families

I have been banking with NatWest for as long as I can remember. I have a joint account with them as well as two Rooster accounts for my children. I’ve tried various children’s accounts over the years, but I’ve found NatWest Rooster Money to be the best. It’s far more suitable for teaching independence, helping children learn how to budget, plan their spending, and complete tasks to earn extra money. The fact that it’s free for NatWest customers makes it even better compared to other providers. When I recently visited the branch to enquire about opening an ISA for myself, the member of staff was extremely helpful. They took the time to explain all my options clearly and in detail, making sure I understood everything before making a decision. I’ve always found NatWest to be supportive, professional and customer-focused, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Reviewed on: 4th March 2026

Free with my RBS account, Rooster provides everything and more for my 14 year old son. I can track where he's spending and how much with alerts on my phone and he has the freedom to spend anywhere and more importantly create saving pots. Hecus going abroad with school soon and I was delighted that he will be able to use his Rooster card. Reviewed on: 4th March 2026
