Great welcome to the world of banking!

No monthly subscription as a Natwest group account holder. Easy to keep track of my daughters spending with instant notifications and pin reset after a certain number of transactions. Nice card design and an easy way to encourage children to save and keep track of their spending. Reviewed on: 1st April 2026

One of the main attractions for using Rooster for both my daughters is that it is linked to my RBS account so transferring money is very easy. Whats also unique is the fact you can as a parent reward your children with money but only if they have earned the reward via the various methods - homework, being good etc - listed within the app. This motivates both of them to earn pocket money for completion of tasks. You can also remove money to, although that's not often. Reviewed on: 1st April 2026

Great app. Really good account. Love this for my son and he enjoyed doing his chores to get his allowance. We do it together and when he sends it once he's done I accept. It's a good system and I like it links in with my NatWest account. Reviewed on: 1st April 2026
