Rooster money is a fantastic tool for parents managing pocket money for a young child. It grows with them to allow them to manage their own money and ultimately teaches them about bank accounts through the Rooster card. Parental control over the use of the card is excellent and an older child can also learn to use some of these tools to keep their money safe. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026

User friendly and effective

Rooster is a user friendly system which allows kids to have freedom and parents to have oversight. No worries about lost cards etc as the contactless requires reset. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026

Smart money for SEND minds

With a SEN teenager, rooster card has helped me to teach independence skills and critical thinking along with money management to a neurodivergent child in a simple and visual way. The app is easy to use and my child gets notifications when money has been added to card for chores or going above and beyond at school an home. This has implemented a mindset for recognising the value of money as crucial to having opportunities to positive experiences in our daily living. Reviewed on: 4th March 2026

Love the fact that I am constantly able to see and monitor what is happening with my Granddaughters card. I am always aware of how much she is spending and where.
