So happy I can save there as a US person

As a "US person", as we're always termed by banks, there aren't a lot of options for me when it comes to saving. OakNorth's high interest savings accounts have been a godsend for me. They're easy to manage, the UI of the app is great, and the accounts are easy to open. Reviewed on: 27th March 2023

at first I was afraid, I was petrified...

...well, ok, not petrified :-) But I'd never heard of OakNorth, and I remembered the unknown Icelandic bank going belly up, so I was dubious. But I did a bit of research, and then was amazed to find I could ring them direct and get straight through to a Human Being - amazing! I've been saving with OakNorth for years now - good rates; great communication; very clear info; no hassling me with marketing; simple online banking... The only thing I'd love them to add to their 'offer' is a proper Green savings a/c. I highly recommend them - soooo much better than any of my other banks. Reviewed on: 20th March 2023
