I have been waiting for my excess to be refunded for over 3 months and still haven't got it and doubt that I ever will. Fobbed off time and time again. Will never use these people again and do not recommend them. Reviewed on: 26th June 2025

TW9 When I had received my car renewal quote it was high, I had found a lower quote with another, so I contacted the oneclick chat via the web portal, agent TW9 who sorted out a better quote and clearly explained all of the details in a professional manner, very happy with outcome and to stay with Onecall another year. Do not use this firm - bunch of crooks

Do not use this firm - they are a bunch of thieves. I sold my car after only using 80 days of my annual insurance. I calculated refund at around £184. Then there is the cancellation fee of £55.99 (a total rip-off) reducing my refund to about £128. They have offered me £37 approx! Other fees are brokers fee of £40 and gold breakdown charge of £39. I have no idea what these are for but in essence, I have been charged £150 for cancelling my insurance. It’s criminal. And trying to navigate their contacts for a recent insurance claim was so awful that I gave up completely and paid my repairs privately. They are an absolute disgrace. Reviewed on: 29th May 2025

I just cancelled a car insurance policy that had 5 months remaining. No refund was offered. The person on 'chat' wrote 'there will be no remaining balance nor refund and includes a cancellation fee of £50.15. A full breakdown of the cancellation will be sent to your customer portal if you decide to go ahead with the cancellation, please be aware if no letter is uploaded this means the cancellation has not been completed.' I keep looking in my customer portal but no breakdown has appeared, and no letter has been uploaded. Where does this leave me, I wonder! I won't be returning to One Call Insurance - ever!
