Avoid this insurance company. Cancelled due to passing my driving test, cancellation fee was £85 and they took £106 out of my bank even though they sent me the cancellation calculation in the post of £85 Reviewed on: 30th April 2023

They won't let you cancel your renewal

Impossible to contact this company and they will make it hard for you to leave. Once I eventually got through to someone to tell them I wanted to cancel my auto-renewal they wouldn't let me cancel until they had given me a new quote. The call operator kept putting me on hold and kept talking about a renewal price even though I told him I wasn't interested in renewing. I was very clear I wanted to stop the renewal but their tactics are very pushy. Avoid like the plague! Reviewed on: 13th April 2023

Appalling

Changed my car insurance from rac to this company. Worst customer service ever. No telephone option.... 45 in the queue for on line chat.... Every time.. So frustrating. I cancelled and paid £59 to leave it was so bad. Reviewed on: 9th April 2023

Tread Cautiously - wolves in sheep's clothing

Initially I thought that I had made a great choice using this company, however I am now forced to leave this review. I had recently moved house and changed my address, to whit I was charge a admin fee of £40, an admin fee that is charged not because any human has to a job, but an admin fee to move my address information from one database to another. After putting me in a position that forced me to pay the fee as they knew I had moved and any claim would become void. I am now in a position that this admin fee was used to change other details as my direct debit date was changed without my consent. Trying to contact these people is on its own a stressful process. I have been trying to log on to retrieve my car insurance policy documents and activate my account. Every time it says there is an error. There is no one to call as it can only be dome online and as I cannot login I cannot talk to them via Livechat so I am completely stuck and want to tear my hair out it's just insane. Never again will I use them or any other company that does not have a telephone number where you can speak to someone in person! Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

I inadvertently put start date as April instead of March and booked. Realised error and contacted One Call within an hour of booking, they wanted £130 to amend, policy was only £400. It was then cheaper to cancel £49.99 and find new insurer. £50 for 1 hours work and one key press error. No give at all and indeed seemed quite happy to simply send me T’s&C’s. You get what you pay for and reading claims reviews with one call this is not very much!!! Reviewed on: 28th March 2023

Would give zero stars if possible. If you have to make a claim with your car insurance, even if its not your fault, they cancel your policy and charge you the whole amount. So if you pay monthly, you owe them for the rest of the year, or if you pay in advance, you won't get a penny back. Read the T&Cs in extreme detail. This company may seem "cheap", but they are out to get money from you every single way possible. AVOID. Reviewed on: 20th March 2023

Refuse to not accept a renewal

Told the company vis webchat 3 weeks before renewal that I did not want there insurance. ?Totally ignored me and are trying to take just under £100 for cancellation. They do not even have an email address to follow up. BEWARE. Reviewed on: 1st March 2023
