Transfer of insurance

Transferred my current insurance from previous car to a new car. However I was surprised to find that the insurance only runs to the date of the current insurance and not for a year. I telephoned One Call who told me as a broker they were only given the amount to transfer insurance until the closing date of the current policy. Reviewed on: 8th October 2025
