I had a claim 2 years ago for a broken very large double glazed window, and the One Call response was immediate and very positive. The people they sent were very friendly and polite and did an excellent job of cleaning up the tiny fragments of glass and replacing the entire unit. Super job. I've now been trying to contact One call about a blocked toilet. Their emergency team say it's not an emergency (logically, they're probably right), however the claims phone line and online chat facility, which are advertised (even now!) as being 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, actually only open Monday to Friday, 9 to 5. So my toilet remains blocked and I can't get another engineer out in case it invalidates my insurance policy. I hope for a positive resolution on Monday. Reviewed on: 10th October 2021
