Very happy PayPal use for years!

I have been using PayPal for many years. Luckily I have only had to use their customer service once and they were very good. In general I have not really had any problems at all, I rely on it for a number of things such as: paying for products online, in shops with the virtual debit card whilst earning points for discounts, the Credit Card feature, spread payments for larger purchases, pay in 3 and sending and receiving money from friends or selling stuff over the years. I also use it for being paid for surveys I take as a side hustle. My only negative I would say is the exchange rate from dollars to pounds is not great as it is lower than I would hope for. But overall I cannot complain for a free service with many features. It's reliable, easy to use and accepted everywhere pretty much. Customer service has been great.

Customer service has been great. Don't have to wait long to speak to someone. Staff have always been friendly and helpful, have clearly explained issues and provided relevant documents when needed. PayPal credit is very convenient and widely accepted. Big fan of the 4 month 0% promotional offer on larger purchases. Reviewed on: 16th April 2026
