As allready state somewhere else I am using PAYpal for more tha 2 decades and in one sticky situation they manage to retrive my payment of hundreds to a company which did not wanted to accept a return because they goods was faulty, good news for a pensioner Reviewed on: 12th April 2026

Why even bother with a Credit Card anymore.

PayPal credit and PayPal Pay in 3 is great at to pay for those larger purchases that you can’t afford in one hit. Plus the added bonus of the buyer guarantee makes it a no-brainer. I’ve generally had a positive experience using PayPal Credit. It’s been really convenient for spreading the cost of larger purchases, especially with the interest-free periods when payments are made on time.
