The application process is quick, and once approved, you can use it at thousands of retailers that accept PayPal. Managing your account through the PayPal app or website is also straightforward. Difficult to arrange payments

I find taking out the credit simple and easy enough, but arranging the payment is too complicated. Given the choice I always choose Klarna as its very straight forward. Reviewed on: 6th July 2026

Problem-free online money services

PayPal has always been there for me. PayPal Credit being of notable convenience if I want to spread payments, interest-free - with Pay-in-3. If I was in a particularly sticky situation, the longer interest options allow me to make bigger purchases without the hassle of credit checks etc. Purchase protection (akin to a credit card), rapid problem resolution and the universal presence of PayPal as a payment option, have all contributed to keeping me for all these years.
