To be honest, using the full range of PayPal credit services has completely transformed my financial health. I rely on Pay in 3 to split smaller retail bills, and I use my PayPal Credit line for bigger purchases to get that automatic zero percent interest for four months. Having that kind of flexibility gives me massive peace of mind when budgeting my monthly outgoings. What really seals the deal for me though is the customer support. On the rare occasion I have a question, being able to speak directly to a helpful, UK-based team who quickly resolve things is worth its weight in gold. Problem sorted.

Worst customer service ever.

PayPal + is really the only redeeming feature of the whole operation. It’s worth dealing with the appalling customer service, delayed refunds and endless gaslighting for the cashback. customer service really is a problem for this company-the staff are utterly clueless about pretty much everything. The PayPal debit card itself is insanely glitchy and not the seamless experience they claim it to be. Pre authorisation payments clear due to the nature of the way it works, and then you are expected to wait two weeks for that money to be returned-while being told they don’t even have it, despite absolute proof they do. They don’t seem to understand how their own system works which is just bizarre. And when I had an issue with the card itself not working, I was-genuinely-advised to turn it off and on again’ by a debit card specialist team member. Just bizarre. Reviewed on: 21st June 2026
