I've been using plum for a good 3 years or so now and it has helped me save money for school uniforms, Christmas and birthdays. I would definitely recommend for someone who finds it hard to save. Many of them say that's what they love most about the app. But we know that's not for everyone, and now give people the option at the start about whether to connect their bank account or not if they just want to use the app for a specific reason.
