Communication is great

Very quick to acknowledge a deposit and also to raise interest rates when possible, unlike some other banks I could mention. The website is well designed and easy to use. Good at communicating when necessary but don’t overwhelm me with rubbish emails. Reviewed on: 12th March 2026

How a bank should be run with real people on helpline

The interest rates are always very competitive I think one of the best I’ve been a customer for over 15 years. When I have called help line it’s always a real person very helpful and will almost insist on staying on the call and help go through the website or app until completion and happy this is how all banks should be run. RCI came through where other banks failed

My husband and I have had an RCI account for many years and been very happy with the service. Recently I tried to open a deputyship account for my mother with her existing bank and it was a nightmare and never happened.
