Easy to access and good rate

Both my wife and I've have held a freedom account for several years now, and find it very useful. You get a good savings rate, beating most regular banks, and you can deposit and withdraw money as often as you like. When interest rates go up they're on the ball increasing the rate for the freedom account, and have a grace period when rates go down. Reviewed on: 3rd March 2022

Competitive interest rates

RCI are not necessarily the highest interest rates, but, RCI reacts to the prevailing interest rates relatively quickly. Quite often when I think of moving my savings for a better easy access rate, they increase their rate, saving me the trouble of opening a new account elsewhere. Reviewed on: 3rd March 2022

A decent bank

Through all the variables of the last few years, the RCI Bank has been a clear communicator and has almost always been able to offer the best interest rate for my savings. It has been quicker than all my other banks and building societies to increase those rates when the financial outlook improved. Reviewed on: 3rd March 2022
