Revolut is an e-money institution which means you can take out an everyday account to manage your money in a range of ways.

You can send, spend, receive and hold a range of currencies. Customers get a physical debit card for everyday spending, a virtual card and a single-use virtual card that resets its details each time you use it.

Moved to the UK, was unable to open bank account as...

Moved to the UK, was unable to open bank account as my Job place was delaying the process of providing proof of workplace but Revolut with the most minimum documents opened my Revolut account which helped me transfer money from my home country to GBP in seconds. And I could even use contactless which even banks weren’t providing for basic savings accounts! Reviewed on: 3rd March 2025
