Revolut is an e-money institution which means you can take out an everyday account to manage your money in a range of ways.

You can send, spend, receive and hold a range of currencies. Customers get a physical debit card for everyday spending, a virtual card and a single-use virtual card that resets its details each time you use it.

A good flexible service

Revolut gives me the flexibility I need when travelling in Europe. The basic account fulfils all my requirements but I have occasionally had problems trying to use my card for payment. The free transfer from one currency to another is brilliant but I sometimes wish the monthly limit might be higher. Reviewed on: 18th January 2025
