Revolut is an e-money institution which means you can take out an everyday account to manage your money in a range of ways.

You can send, spend, receive and hold a range of currencies. Customers get a physical debit card for everyday spending, a virtual card and a single-use virtual card that resets its details each time you use it.

The best banking experience

The best thing about Revolut is its app. It’s just so easy to use - easy to get statements, order cards, add users, send money - it’s an excellent design and really easy to use. However customer service is also excellent. The fact that you can get help in app using the chat function is fantastic and makes my life as a busy software developer much easier. Finally - exchange rates. Approximately 50% of my income comes from Switzerland. Revolut don’t charge me for foreign currency like Bank of Ireland did so I have my Swiss clients pay me into my Revolut account now. I started to use revolut as a way of sending money to my kids … now I’m all in & use it for my business! Reviewed on: 19th January 2025

I've been using Revolut for over a year now, and I couldn't be happier with the service! The app is incredibly user-friendly and makes managing my finances so much easier. I love the real-time notifications for every transaction, which helps me stay on top of my spending. The currency exchange rates are unbeatable, and it's been a lifesaver for my travels. I no longer worry about hidden fees or poor conversion rates when using my card abroad. The ability to hold multiple currencies in one account is a fantastic feature. Customer service has been responsive and helpful whenever I've had questions. Revolution is my go to bank.
