Revolut is an e-money institution which means you can take out an everyday account to manage your money in a range of ways.

You can send, spend, receive and hold a range of currencies. Customers get a physical debit card for everyday spending, a virtual card and a single-use virtual card that resets its details each time you use it.

Started using it on hols stayed for investing n more

I started using revolute when I went abroad to benefit from better expensive rates than my main bank account. I kept it going afterwards though as I've started using it to invest and save. As well as keeping the account going as a top up debit card. I find it beneficial to have to add money to the card instead of just paying for "stuff" and losing track of spending. Revolut - great personal account !

Revolut has been a great personal account for everyday banking. The app is intuitive, transfers are fast, and features like spending analytics, budgeting, and card security controls are genuinely useful. I also appreciate how transparent everything is, no surprises, and everything is easy to manage in one place. Metal subscriber - great value for money

I am a metal user, and the FT subscription alone makes my money back. The savings rate is great and the overall app is super slick and easy to use. Great product especially abroad but more and more day to day. Reviewed on: 19th January 2026
