Revolut is an e-money institution which means you can take out an everyday account to manage your money in a range of ways.

You can send, spend, receive and hold a range of currencies. Customers get a physical debit card for everyday spending, a virtual card and a single-use virtual card that resets its details each time you use it.

A Big Step Ahead of Traditional Banks

Revolut is easy to use, offers competitive rates, and I now prefer it over a traditional bank. The app lets you buy stocks as well, so everything is in one place, along with many extra features that my bank simply can’t compete with, they’ve fallen far behind. I’d love to see trading added to the Revolut Business app too. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2026

A must have for many reasons.

It’s great that you can just top up your card for the amount you need for a night out. Takes away the worry of losing your bank card and potentially losing a lot of money. I know you can cancel cards immediately these days but in a short space of time before you realise you’ve lost it a great deal of damage can be done. Also using your card abroad is a plus with transactions immediately relayed to your phone converting your purchases into sterling. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2026

Happy customer

I have been using Revolut for a number of years as my preferred account to handle my income payments. Working predominantly overseas, it is often necessary for me to receive funds in different currencies, I can easily do this with Revolut. Transferring funds between currency accounts could not be easier, instantaneous and with minimal rate changes, something essential to me and my constantly travelling lifestyle. I've been with Revolut for over 7 years now

I've been with Revolut for over 7 years now and I am planning on using it moving forward. I've been on the Ultra plan for a while and if you use the perks (if they are relevant to you) then just for that they're worth it. The RevPoints are very useful as well as I get Amazon gift cards every month which just that pays for half of the plan. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2026
