SAVINGS ACCOUNT UP AND RUNNING

I opened an online savings account and found this to be straightforward. I already had an account with Saffron Building Society so that may have helped in the process. I was able to open the account quite quickly and it was easy to view the different documentation about the account. Good rate of interest with the account. Reviewed on: 18th July 2024

Online account admin is difficult.

Your online administration of accounts is a mess.I am forever being locked out of my account because I can not remember my "special answer". The reason being is that the question is never provided. Accessing online accounts with Saffron is much harder for customers than with equivalent organisations.I have to phone up to have my account unlocked but teh hours I can phone up are the hours I work (i'm an IT trainer) so i can not answer the phone when a member of Saffron calls to unlock my account. Entry of maturity instructions for an ISA

I spoke to one of your on call staff. She was able to do what I wanted and was courteous and friendly. I wanted to enter maturity instructions for my Cash ISA and could not find a way of doing it online. This apparently was because I was trying to do it too early: too many days before the maturity date. As you had sent me an email asking me to do it. I think you should not send out these messages until it is possible for your customer comply. Reviewed on: 18th July 2024
