They have local branches, and give good savings rates.

They have local branches, we do not do online savings, only use building with local branches. They give good rates and are very helpful. Reviewed on: 28th January 2026

High Ratings All Round

The savings rates are competitive and, through my various dealings with staff by phone or e-mail, I have always found them to be very helpful in meeting my requirements. Saffron has a programme to keep its customers "involved" if they so wish, including a Members Room where opinions of customers are sought. In addition they hold occasional events, when customers have the opportunity to meet directors and senior staff, as well as exchange news and views with other members. In summary, I consider Saffron Building Society to be an excellent organisation. Reviewed on: 28th January 2026
