Falsely enticed with high interest.

Enticed to move ISA savings with offer of high interest which then drops within weeks to a less competitive rate compared to other providers. This seems to be a common practice with banks and building societies. Reviewed on: 30th July 2026

A Positive Experience with Saffron BS

My overall experience with Saffron BS over a number of years has been positive. Whether I have been transacting on-line or calling into the branch, Saffron has been easy. I don't need a mortgage, so my experience has only been on savings products but I have found them to be competitive. Reviewed on: 30th July 2026

I find undertaking business with Saffron BS difficult.

I find undertaking business with Saffron BS difficult. One has to go through another bank and it takes a while to get it right. It would be easier if one could just send, save, withdraw direct. Maybe i am missing a trick but I am reluctant to change anything. I move money around my Lloyds accounts with great ease. Reviewed on: 30th July 2026

Comfortable

Phone contacts have always been pleasant and effective. I use a savings account as back up for a current account elsewhere and transfers are easy and speedy. Interest rates are good but not the best in the market but flexibility and ease of access are more important. Reviewed on: 30th July 2026
