Card renewal - bad practice

2 male operatives didn't give the correct information and the female operative tried her best but her boss has not deemed my complaint important enough to get back to me. I received a letter from Saga stating my credit card had expired and to ring them with new details. On giving the details of my card, immediate payment for my car insurance was taken from my bank account.At no time was I told this would happen and no one would cancel the payment which was not due for 3 another 3weeks. I was told to cancel it through my bank .They told me the payment was ",pending "so it couldn't be done and to go back to Saga. This practice should be made clear in their letter or by the operative before taking my card details. It has caused me financial embarrassment and disappointment as well 2hrs on the phone trying to deal with this..I will not be renewing my insurance with Saga next year for sure Reviewed on: 25th April 2023

Simple and clearly explained

Fabulous service when my car was in an accident.

Fabulous service when my car was in an accident.. I felt so relived that saga handled everything from sourcing the garage for repairs, picking the car and sporting out a company for a loan car whilst mine was being repaired. I would highly recommend SAGA. Reviewed on: 26th September 2025

Car Insurance cover

Previous Insurance Company increased annual payment by almost 30%. Looked for new cover and Saga looked the best cover by far.. Reviewed on: 26th September 2025
